During the devMEET in Stuttgart last Saturday there was a drawing contest that I took part in. This was my entry. Made it into the top 3. 
It's purposely unfinished, since the horse walking next to the guy didn't fit on the paper. I just focused on him and left it at that.
HB, 2B and 4B pencils. 30 - 40 minutes (didn't really keep track of the time).
The soldier in the picture is part of a relief that runs all around the pillar in the middle of the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart.
I was impressed by that relief, because some of the figures on it were fully 3D.
I'll post some photos, after I've finished uploading the Scotland pics (but seeing how we're only at day 3 of 10, this is going to take a while...

I think not putting the horse in gives it a "ghosty" feel! I can't believe this took you only 40 minutes O_O
